E-rate Vendor Update - New Function Available

SPECIAL FOR E-RATE VENDORS:
NEW DATA DOWNLOAD FUNCTION AVAILABLE ON SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES WEB SITE
A new function for service providers is available beginning today on the Schools and Libraries Corporation web site. In the Service Providers area of the web site, users can now directly download a report of highlights of services being requested on Forms 470 posted on the web site for competitive bidding.
These reports can be tailored for individual states or can summarize all states, and can summarize 470s posted since the web site opened, or just those posted over the past several days. Reports can be formatted for use with word processing software, or the delimited file can be input to spreadsheet software.
To access this new report function, users click on the *Download Report* button in the Service Provider Area.
The Schools and Libraries Corporation continues to offer, on an interim basis, similar summary information through its e-mail service, but encourages vendors and others to make use of this new Download Report function on the web site. For help and/or additional information, call 888-203-8100.
Special reminder to vendors: To receive discount payments for services you provide under the Universal Service Program, you must have a SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number). If you have not yet been assigned a SPIN, please call 973-560-4440 as soon as possible to request one.
As of close of business on March 10, the Schools and Libraries Corporation had received more than 30,000 Form 470 applications from schools and libraries in every state as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.
