PDE Posts Wave 2 E-Rate Funding Commitments Recipients

The following are Pennsylvania's schools and libraries that have received or will be receiving funding commitment letters during Wave 2. Although
the SLC gave general guidelines on the order that letters would be mailed, I have found not their guidelines to be followed very closely in waves 1
and 2. Therefore, if your institution has not received a letter in either of these first two waves, please don't be alarmed. I understand there are
now to be a total of six waves through the end of January, including the first two. Pennsylvania probably will be recieving more than 1500 letters,
of which only 400 have been mailed.
When you receive your funding commitment letters, don't forget to file the Form 486 as soon as possible to begin the discount implementation process.
And for those of you who didn't read a previous update, the 471 application number that is listed on your funding commitment letter probably won't be
10 digits, as requested in the Form 486. To remedy this, simply add zeros to the beginning of the number to achieve the 10 digits.
