Status of Any 471 Now Available Online

SLD Releases Great New Online 471 Status Feature
After years of requests from both applicants and vendors, the SLD has just released a great feature that allows applicants to determine the status of their Form 471s for any particular funding year. To access this feature, go to the SLD website at: http://www.sl.universalservice.org and click on "Apply Online." You'll see it under the 471 column as "Application Status."
Next, it will ask for your Entity Number and the Funding Year that you would like to search (yes, it goes back to year 1).
The system then returns a list of all 471s for the Entity Number and Funding Year specified, listing the 471 Application Number, the Applicant's Form Identifier, and the Status (it's at the bottom of the page).
The system will show one of the following items as the status of your 471:
Form Canceled
Application In Process (you haven't hit the submit button yet)
Certification Not Completed (you hit submit, but haven't certified it yet)
Certified (certified online or the SLD has received and posted your paper certification)
RAL Issued - 'xx/xx/xxxx' (date)
In Review (PIA review)
FCDL Issued - 'xx/xx/xxxx' (date)
