Year 10 (2007-08) Wave 9 E-rate Funding Committed

Congratulations to the following 10 Pennsylvania schools and libraries that will be receiving Year 10, Wave 9 E-rate Funding Commitment Letters, totaling $479,133.27.  A summary of each commitment is listed below. If you find that your funding commitment letter does not arrive in a timely manner, please call the SLD ASAP to get a replacement (888-203-8100). All Year 10 correspondence will be sent in PINK.

A wave will be arriving every week until the Year 10 funding is exhausted.  Although the SLD has begun funding priority 2 requests at the 90% level, this wave consists of requests for Priority 1 services (telecom and Internet) for PA entities.  There are many, many more waves coming, and your commitment will be in one of the upcoming waves.  If you have gone through PIA review but haven't yet been funded, please read this message for a possible reason why your FCDL is delayed:  http://www.e-ratepa.org/Listserve-Archive/2007/06-25-07_2.htm.

The next step for those entities funded in Waves 1-9 is to file the Form 486 which tells the SLD it's OK to pay invoices, who approved your technology plan, and that you are CIPA compliant. The FY 2007 Form 486 is available at: http://www.sl.universalservice.org/menu.asp and must be filed by October 28, 2007 at the very latest.
