Year 10 (2007-08) Wave 26 E-rate Funding Committed
Message Posted October 31, 2007
Congratulations to the following 12 Pennsylvania schools and libraries that will be receiving Year 10, Wave 26 E-rate Funding Commitment Letters, totaling $1,109,476.79. A summary of each commitment is listed below. If you find that your funding commitment letter does not arrive in a timely manner, please call the SLD ASAP to get a replacement (888-203-8100). All Year 10 correspondence will be sent in PINK.
A wave will be arriving every week until the Year 10 funding is exhausted. This wave consists of funding for priority 1 and priority 2 funding. There are many, many more waves coming, and your commitment will be in one of the upcoming waves.
The next step for those entities that have been funded is to file the Form 486 which tells the SLD it's OK to pay invoices, who approved your technology plan, and that you are CIPA compliant. The FY 2007 Form 486 is available at: http://www.sl.universalservice.org/menu.asp and must be filed 120 days after the funding commitment letter date or 120 days after start of services, whichever is later. For helpful information on filing the Form 486, go to: http://www.e-ratepa.org/Listserve-Archive/2007/05-09-07.htm
