Form 470 Non-Filers Update
Message Posted January 19, 2011
This morning I sent a message listing the 84 school districts that have not yet posted Form 470's. In speaking with one of the entities that should not have been on the list, we discovered that USAC's Search Posted feature is having some 'challenges' since converting to a new online system, and some of the 470's that have been posted aren't showing up in the Search Posted mass download feature. I've gone back through the list and believe the entities listed are now accurate (which has now dwindled to 67 entities). Will you please check the list and if you have posted a 470 and your name is still on this list, please let me know. Thanks for your patience and I'm sorry for the confusion. -- Julie

NSLP Data Available Next Week
~ List of 470 Non-filers Included Below ~
Many IUs and libraries have asked when the PDE NSLP data (submitted by schools in October 2010) will be posted. According to the PDE Bureau of Food and Nutrition, we can expect to receive it by next week. As soon as I get the file, I'll send it to the listserve, and also post it on the PA E-rate website -- www.e-ratepa.org -- under Discount Calculations.
As of today, there are still 84 school districts that have not yet filed 470's (listed below). I will send out another list of entities needing to file 470's on January 26, so please file your Form 470 in the next few days! It's important to get your 28-day clock ticking. My goal is to have all PA Form 470's posted by February 9.
For those applicants that filed their Form 470's before December 22 and who have completed their bid evaluations, the Form 471 filing window has opened and is accepting applications. The new online form has some flaws, but is generally working ok. USAC has stated that applicants that file early have a much better chance of being included in the earliest funding waves.
