E-rate Trainings Scheduled at PETE & C
Message Posted January 20, 2011
This year there are two separate E-rate training sessions being held at the PETE & C Technology Conference in Hershey which is being held February 13 - 16. The first is a free, 3-hour advanced pre-conference session training and the second is a 1-hour breakout session for E-rate beginners that you may attend if you are a paid attendee to the conference. Details for both sessions are below.
E-rate Survival 2011: Changes, CIPA and Audits
Sunday, February 13, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Are you an expert on the latest E-rate changes? Are you prepared to submit a successful new Form 471? Can you pass an E-rate audit? This session will cover all of the new E-rate rules in detail, including new gift rules, spin change rules, competitive bidding changes, eligible services changes, anticipated CIPA changes, filtering rules, Form 471 changes, and much more! Although this session is free, pre-registration is required.
E-rate: Easy as 1, 2, 3!
Monday, February 14, 10:30 a.m.
If you're new to E-rate and would like a 1-hour crash course, please plan to attend this session. We’ll cover technology planning, competitive bidding, application submission, discounted bills/reimbursements, audits, where to get information, and more. Copies of the FY 2011 E-rate Training Manual also will be provided. To attend, you must be a paid attendee to the conference.
To register for the PETE & C conference and/or the pre-conference E-rate session, go to: http://www.peteandc.org/registrationform.asp.
Hope to see you there!
