Year 5, Wave 26 Funding Commitments Issued
~ Internal Connections Funding Down to 81% ~
Message Posted April 3, 2003
NOTE: These are waves from Year 5 -- not Year 6. Those waves will begin in a few weeks.
Congratulations to the following 6 Pennsylvania schools and libraries that will be receiving a Year 5 (Funding Year 2002-2003), Wave 26 E-rate Funding Commitment Letter. Each commitment is listed below, and detailed information will be posted on the SLD web site under Funding Commitments: http://www.sl.universalservice.org/funding/ next week.
This wave contains funding for internal connections down to the 81% level. No decision has been made yet on funding requests for 80% discount requests.
* The next step is to file the Form 486 which tells the SLD 3 things:
1) that the SLD is authorized to pay invoices (either BEAR or SPIFs)
2) that your technology plan has been approved (by a SLD-certified approver)
3) that you were CIPA compliant as of July 1, 2002.
THIS FORM MUST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 120 DAYS OF THE DATE ON THE FUNDING COMMITMENT LETTER.
