Update: Registering for E-rate Audit Session at PETE&C
Message Posted December 16, 2008
On Friday we announced there would be two E-rate sessions at the PETE & C Technology Conference in Hershey being held February 8 - 11. The first is a 3-hour pre-conference session dealing with E-rate audits and how to make sure you're prepared (it also will include a full E-rate update). This session is free to PA educators*, but you must register to attend. The second session is a 1-hour E-rate training session for beginners that will walk attendees through the entire E-rate application process. This session is included with your paid-attendance at the conference.
*** If you are not attending/registering for the PETE & C Conference, but would like to just attend the free pre-conference session on E-rate audits, you will need to follow these special instructions when registering. These instructions are important so you can avoid being charged, and so the system will process your request.
1) Go to: http://www.peteandc.org/registrationform.asp and scroll to the bottom of the page.
2) On the next page, scroll to the bottom of the page and under 'Special PDE Sessions - PM Seminar (No cost for PA Educators)' select 'PC-G2-E-rate Audits: Are You Prepared?'
3) Then under 'Payment Information' at the bottom of the page, select 'Invoice' and for the PO Number, write "E-rate" in the text box. (Note: Don't select the credit card method of payment.)
4) On the final page, enter your contact information and submit your registration. You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
If you are registering for the PETE & C Conference and also plan to attend the E-rate audit session, simply register as you normally would at http://www.peteandc.org/registrationform.asp. Don't forget, to qualify for early-bird discounted rates, you must register prior to January 1, 2009.

This presentation will focus on next steps in the application process and provide a complete update on all issues relating to E-rate. Bring your E-rate questions, big and small!
