FY 2010, Wave 18 E-rate Funding Committed!
Message Posted September 20, 2010
Congratulations to the following 14 Pennsylvania schools and libraries that will be receiving FY 2010 (Year 13), Wave 18 E-rate Funding Commitment Letters, totaling $253,287.64! A summary of each commitment is listed below. All FY 2010 correspondence will be sent in PINK.
A wave will be arriving every week until the FY 2010 funding is exhausted. This wave consists of requests for Priority 1 services (telecom and Internet) and Priority 2 services (internal connections and basic maintenance of internal connections). There are many, many more waves coming, and your commitment will be in one of the upcoming waves.
The next step for those entities funded in Waves 1-18 will be to file the Form 486 which tells the SLD it's OK to pay invoices, who approved your technology plan, and that you are CIPA compliant. The Online Form 486 for FY 2010 is available and applicants listed below may file the form NOW as long as your technology plan has been approved. For an example of which Form 486 boxes should be checked, see http://www.e-ratepa.org/Listserve-Archive/2010/06-02-10.htm.
