~ Still trying to get library list ~<\/p>\n

USAC has just provided me with a list of the public and nonpublic schools in PA that have not yet logged into the new E-rate EPC Portal (87 total, 35 are districts, which isn’t bad!).\u00a0 In order to apply for E-rate funding for FY 2016 (and to submit FY 2015 BEARs for reimbursement), schools MUST be registered in EPC.\u00a0 Listed below are the entities whose Account Administrators (AAs)<\/span> have not created their password AND accepted their Terms and Conditions upon logging into EPC for the first time.\u00a0<\/span> As a reminder, USAC assigned each entity’s AA as the person who signed your FY 2015 Form 471.\u00a0 It doesn’t have to be this person and can be changed to anyone in your school that has the authority to sign forms (can’t be a consultant).\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

If your entity’s name is on the list,<\/span> <\/span>please take these steps ASAP:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 Open the attached excel file<\/a> to see who<\/span> at your school<\/span> is listed as the AA for your entity.\u00a0 If it is\u00a0<\/span>not<\/span><\/span> the person who should be the AA for your school, call USAC’s Client Services Bureau<\/span> (888-203-8100)<\/span> and explain that the wrong person for your school is listed in their system and you need to have the AA changed to another person.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 They<\/span> should give you a<\/span> person’s first name and a<\/span> case # to reference.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

2)\u00a0 Complete the attached letter<\/a>, print on school letterhead\/sign, and e-mail to<\/span> sldpr@gdit.com<\/a>.\u00a0 Reference the case # and the person’s name in the subject line of your e-mail.\u00a0 This is important so your request will be directed to the right person.<\/span><\/p>\n

3)\u00a0<\/span> Within two business days, the new AA<\/span> should receive a separate invitation email with the subject line “USAC EPC Account Creation.”<\/span>\u00a0 If you do not receive the email, please check your junk or spam folder.\u00a0 Then follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Go to EPC using the link in your email, or typing the URL<\/span> https:\/\/portal.usac.org\/<\/span><\/a> into your browser. <\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Click<\/span> <\/b>Accept<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 On the login screen, click<\/span> <\/b>Reset Your Password<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Enter your Username (your e-mail address) and click<\/span> <\/b>Request Password Reset<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The system will send you an email<\/span> message<\/span> with a<\/span> different URL.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Click the URL from the new email message (or paste it into your browser).<\/span>\u00a0 <\/b>Please note this URL expires after 15 minutes<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Follow the instructions to create your password.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Log in to EPC.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Click the link in the welcome message to view the terms and conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 This takes you to your Tasks page and you will have a task to view your terms and conditions.<\/span>\u00a0 Click the task.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span>\u00a0 Review the terms and conditions and click “Accept<\/b>” at the bottom of the page.<\/span><\/p>\n
