A common question lately is how can a school or library change their Account Administrator in EPC.\u00a0 There are two ways (easy and not as easy):<\/p>\n
1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0If the previous AA is still at the school or library<\/strong> (or if you can still ask them to do it even though they no longer work there):<\/p>\n To become the AA, the person first must be a \u201cUser\u201d in your EPC portal.\u00a0 If the new AA is already a User, the current AA simply selects > Name of Entity on Landing Page > Related Actions > Modify Account Administrator and selects the User that should be the new AA.\u00a0 If the new AA is not already a User in EPC, the current AA selects > Name of Entity on Landing Page > Related Actions > Create New User and enters the new user\u2019s information (including giving them Full Rights to all the forms).\u00a0 The EPC system will then send an automated e-mail to the new user asking them to log-in to EPC, establish their password, and accept their EPC Terms and Conditions.\u00a0 After they\u2019ve done this, the current AA can click on Modify Account Administrator and designate the new user as the new AA.<\/p>\n 2)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If the previous AA is no longer available:<\/strong><\/p>\n E-mail the following information to USAC at:\u00a0 sldpr@gdit.com<\/a> (use the school or library\u2019s e-mail account)<\/p>\n \u201cI am writing to ask to be set up as the new Account Administrator in our EPC Portal. The previous AA has left the organization.\u201d<\/p>\n Name:<\/p>\n Title:<\/p>\n Billed Entity Number (BEN):<\/p>\n Organization:<\/p>\n Address:<\/p>\n Phone:<\/p>\n E-mail:<\/p>\n After that, USAC will establish you as a \u201cUser\u201d in your organization\u2019s EPC portal and the system will send an e-mail telling you to log-in to your EPC account and accept the Terms and Conditions.\u00a0 Before you can do this, you will have to establish your EPC password which is done by clicking on the \u201cForgot Password\u201d link on the EPC log-in page.\u00a0 Please note that the Terms\/Conditions that must be accepted in the portal are not the same as accepting the password terms\/conditions.<\/p>\n After logging in to EPC and accepting the T\/Cs, you must send another e-mail to sldpr@gdit.com<\/a> telling them you have accepted your T\/Cs and ask them to set you up as the Account Administrator.<\/p>\n I realize either process sounds a bit daunting, but it should be able to be done very quickly.\u00a0 Either way, please also send me an e-mail so I can subscribe the new User to the PA E-rate listserve. \u00a0If you have any questions, please don\u2019t hesitate to contact me at jtschell@comcast.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n — Julie<\/p>\n Julie Tritt Schell<\/p>\n PA E-rate Coordinator<\/p>\n 717-730-7133 – o penn*link<\/p>\n\n
