This week we learned from USAC that there are three actions in EPC that will be locked down when the Admin Window closes on Sunday, February 26:<\/p>\n
a. Manage Organization
\nb. Manage Organization Relationships
\nc. Entity Profile Data<\/p>\n
Manage Organization Relationships is the area of EPC where you link\/unlink to consultants and consortia, which means that consortia leaders will not be able to add\/remove consortia members in EPC after February 26. \u00a0\u00a0USAC has stated after the lock-down, the Client Service Bureau (CSB) will be able to assist consortia leaders with this process by entering additional members on their behalf (or removing members).<\/p>\n
Therefore, if you are a consortia lead and have not linked all of your consortium members \u2013 and even potential members \u2013 in your consortia EPC profile, you\u2019ll want to do this by Sunday, February 27.\u00a0 When you file your Form 471, if there are entities in your EPC consortium that will not be receiving services, simply don\u2019t select them as Recipients of Service on the FRN.\u00a0 Your E-rate discount is entirely dependent on who are listed as the Recipients of Service for an FRN; it is not based on all of the consortium members in EPC.<\/p>\n
