For those of you who are new to E-rate or want a refresher, the Pennsylvania Department of Education is again sponsoring three in-person E-rate trainings being held in various regions of the state. \u00a0This year’s workshops will again be full-day and be held in early-mid October.\u00a0 \u00a0This year’s workshop will provide step-by-step training on how to apply for E-rate (both Category 1 and Category 2) and demonstrate how to navigate and submit forms in the new USAC EPC Portal.<\/p>\n
Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the workshop running from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.\u00a0 Each training is identical and lunch will be provided.\u00a0 Seating is limited to 2 attendees from each school or library (unless you contact me in advance), and you must register to attend (see below).\u00a0 The workshops are free, but a $50 cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice. \u00a0\u00a0Please register as soon as possible so we know how many training materials and lunches to order.<\/p>\n
If you register for beginner\u2019s training, please be sure that you are set up as a User in your school or library\u2019s EPC account and have successfully logged in prior to training.<\/p>\n
