FY2018-Demand-Estimate final<\/a><\/p>\nLast week USAC submitted their Funding Year 2018 \u201cE-rate Demand Estimate\u201d to the FCC, showing how much E-rate funding was requested in each category (copy attached).\u00a0 For FY 2018, applicants requested a total of $2.77 billion (down from $3.2 billion in FY 2017), which includes estimated demand of $2.025 billion for Category 1 services and $745 million for Category equipment\/services.\u00a0 Because FY 2018 demand is less than the E-rate funding cap, the FCC has approved the full funding of all eligible C1 and C2 requests.<\/p>\n
