To:<\/strong>\u00a0E-rate Listserve – PA E-rate Reform Training for PA Schools and Libraries<\/strong><\/p>\n As you know, last week the FCC released their comprehensive E-rate Reform Order, detailing how the program will be entirely revamped beginning in FY 2015.\u00a0 Every school and library’s Priority 1 E-rate funding will be affected, both in terms of what’s eligible and what your discount rate will be.\u00a0 As a trade-off, all schools and libraries regardless of discount level, can expect to receive Priority 2 funding over the next five years for internal connections components, Wi-Fi and wiring.\u00a0 There are many, many other changes as well.<\/p>\n There are several FREE webinars coming up in the next few weeks for PA schools, libraries and IUs and I encourage every school and library to attend one of these trainings<\/strong>. Because of the limited number of available seats, these webinars are reserved for PA school, library, and IU\u00a0applicants<\/strong>\u00a0only.<\/p>\n The webinar schedule is as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n Schools and Libraries:\u00a0 Monday, August 4 from 1:00 – 3:30.
