For those of you who are new to E-rate or want a refresher, the Pennsylvania Department of Education is again sponsoring three in-person E-rate trainings this fall in various regions of the state. \u00a0This year’s workshops will be full-day during which time we\u2019ll cover eligible services, discount calculations, EPC portal navigation, competitive bidding rules\/requirements, the E-rate calendar, how to apply for Category 1 and 2, and what forms you still have to complete for FY 2018 and FY 2019.<\/p>\n
Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., with each workshop running from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Each training is identical and lunch will be provided to attendees.\u00a0 Seating is limited to 2 attendees from each school or library (unless you contact me in advance), and you must register to attend (see below).\u00a0 The workshops are free, but a $50 cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice. \u00a0\u00a0Please register as soon as possible so we know how many training materials and lunches to order. Also, this training is for school and library applicants only \u2013 no vendors.<\/p>\n
If you are new to the E-rate program, please be sure that you are set up as a User in your school or library\u2019s EPC account and have successfully logged in prior to training.\u00a0 If you are unsure how to do this, please contact me!<\/p>\n
