\n~ Category 2 Webinars Coming after FCC Releases C2 Order ~<\/p>\n

Next week there will be two separate webinars held to provide additional E-rate training for PA schools and libraries.\u00a0 The first webinar will be \u201cE-rate for Beginners<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 a condensed training session for those applicants new to the program who could not attend one of the three, full-day training sessions held this fall.\u00a0 \u00a0The second webinar will be \u201cCategory 1 \u2013 Eligibility and Form 470 Bidding<\/strong>\u201d and will be devoted to C1, the E-rate funding mechanism that provides discounts for broadband and Internet access services.\u00a0 In this session, we will discuss what services are eligible and demonstrate how to file a Category 1 Form 470 to begin the competitive bidding process.<\/p>\n

Also, I know many (all) of you are eager for FY 2020 Category 2 information and webinars, but I can\u2019t schedule those until the FCC released their Category 2 Order.\u00a0 As soon as that\u2019s released, I\u2019ll send a summary to the listserve and announce the Category 2 webinars.<\/p>\n
