Attached:\u00a02nd Form 471 Window Filing Guide<\/a><\/p>\n

Already, 105 PA school districts have requested additional Category 1 E-rate funding due to increased needs resulting from the pandemic.\u00a0 If you intend to submit a Form 471 during this special application window and haven\u2019t yet done so, please be sure to certify your form before 11:59 p.m. Eastern tonight. \u00a0An updated 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Window Filing Guide is attached to this message.\u00a0 Two important reminders:<\/p>\n

1. When you begin your Form 471, you will see a splash screen that says you are submitting your application after the close of the filing window and your application will not be considered unless you seek a waiver from the FCC (looks like this).\u00a0 You will also see the same message after your Form 471 is submitted.\u00a0 IGNORE THESE MESSAGES.\u00a0 If you submit your application by tonight\u2019s deadline, your application will be reviewed\/approved with no further action needed on your part with the FCC.<\/p>\n

2. Please don\u2019t forget to certify your form before midnight tonight.\u00a0 I\u2019ve spoken to a few applicants that got to the end of the form and forgot to wait for their Certification Task to be created so they could certify the form.\u00a0 The attached 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Form 471 Window Filing Guide has been updated to include step by step instructions on certifying the form after your FRN is created.<\/p>\n
