{"id":32935,"date":"2021-01-11T02:36:26","date_gmt":"2021-01-11T02:36:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/e-ratepaorg.local\/?p=32935"},"modified":"2021-01-14T02:39:48","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T02:39:48","slug":"is-your-epc-entity-data-accurate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/?p=32935","title":{"rendered":"Is Your EPC Entity Data Accurate?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">January 11, 2021<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Attached:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Entity-Report-Jan-11-2021-filtered.xlsx\" class=\"mtli_attachment mtli_xlsx\" target=\"_blank\">Entity Report Jan 11 2021 &#8211; filtered<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over the last few weeks, several applicants have asked how they can easily determine what data exists in their organization\u2019s EPC profile(s) so they know if anything should be updated by Wednesday, January 13, 2021.\u00a0 To make this step as easy as possible, I\u2019ve downloaded the most recent PA entity database (accurate as of midnight last night), and narrowed, re-sorted and color-coded the fields.\u00a0 To find the entities that relate to your organization, use the filter function to narrow your search.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is What?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The columns in\u00a0YELLOW\u00a0relate to School Districts, Libraries, Library Systems, Library Consortia and other Consortia (otherwise known as \u201cParents\u201d).\u00a0 Filter by Column A, and you will see information related to each of your \u201cchild entities\u201d in EPC and their related information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If your entity is a stand-alone school, such as an AVTS or non-public school, that is not connected to a \u201cparent entity\u201d in EPC, you will be able to find your information by filtering Column E \u201cEntity Name.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>All data in the\u00a0GREEN\u00a0and\u00a0ORANGE\u00a0columns relate to building data, not \u2018parent\u2019 data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Data Should You Review?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Ensure that all of your buildings, including non-instructional facilities (NIFs), are listed.\u00a0 If any are missing or should be removed, you must contact USAC to have them perform that function.\u00a0 Call 888-203-8100 or use the Contact Us feature in EPC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Ensure that the building addresses are accurate.\u00a0 Applicants can make these changes in EPC without USAC assistance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Ensure that the EPC Account Administrator for your organization (Column D) is accurate.\u00a0 If not, contact USAC and request that the AA be changed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4. School Enrollment\/NSLP Data \u2013 Data in Columns M &amp; N show what is currently listed in each school\u2019s EPC profile.\u00a0 If you would like to update this information prior to January 13, refer to this Guide for assistance:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/?p=32887\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/?p%3D32887&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1610677562299000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGFnawIkqUo1XiJNLBH-dlr5hqBUg\">https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/?p=32887<\/a>.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget, schools can use this year or last year\u2019s data and as a result, most school districts have chosen not to update this data for FY 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5.
