~ Note:\u00a0 Because almost all FY 2021 FCDLs have been issued (97%), and because Wave 1 of ECF FCDLs will be issued shortly, this will be the last regular FY 2021 E-rate funding wave notice that I send. ~<\/em><\/p>\n

Congratulations to the following 19 PA schools and libraries (51 separate FRNs), committing $920,339.90 in wave 20 and $922,840.81 in wave 21.\u00a0 These waves include commitments for both Category 1 and Category 2 requests.\u00a0 A list of the funded applicants is below and a more detailed analysis of each funding wave is attached.\u00a0 If you are included on this list, your Form 471 contact and EPC Account Administrator (AA) would have received an e-mail with the FCDL attached.\u00a0 Please review the FCDL carefully to make sure you agree with USAC\u2019s decision.\u00a0 Then file the Form 486 and contact your vendors to request discounted billing if you so desire. \u00a0A helpful FCDL User-Guide is available at:\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/FCDL-Guide-FY-2021.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you were NOT included in these waves,\u00a0<\/strong>do not worry!\u00a0\u00a0It just means that your application hasn’t yet been reviewed\/decided<\/strong>.\u00a0 Be watching for e-mail for notification that your PIA questions are available in EPC.\u00a0 As soon as the questions are answered, you’ll likely be in an upcoming funding wave.\u00a0 A funding wave will be released each week until all applications have been decided.<\/p>\n

A few notes:<\/p>\n

— The next step is to file the Form 486 in EPC.\u00a0Because it\u2019s after July 31, do\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0check the \u201cEarly 486 Filing\u201d Box.\u00a0 Also, please be careful to check the accurate CIPA certifications on the final page (don\u2019t get click happy!).\u00a0 A helpful Form 486 Filing guide is available at:\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Form-486-Filing-Guide-2021.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

— If your FRN was modified or denied, Columns O and P will provide what was modified from the original application or why the funding request was denied.\u00a0 If you do not agree with the modification or the denial, please consider submitting an appeal to USAC within 60 day of the FCDL date. \u00a0If you\u2019re unsure whether you should appeal, please let me know and I can provide guidance.<\/p>\n

— All EPC users in the organization\u2019s EPC account can download a copy on their EPC Landing Page under Notifications.<\/p>\n
