~ Funding available for all applications ~<\/p>\n

The official dataset of what was requested in the ECF Filing Window 2 has been released and I am pleased to report that demand in the second ECF window is $1.3 billion \u2013 below the total available funding of $2 billion.\u00a0 This means there is enough ECF funding available to cover all eligible applications filed in both Window 1 and Window 2.\u00a0 It is not yet clear what the FCC will decide to do with the remaining $700 million, but I would be surprised if they decided to open a 3rd Window for the FY 2021 funding year.<\/p>\n

Attached is a spreadsheet showing all of the equipment and services requested in Window 2, where each row represents a single FRN Line Item.\u00a0\u00a0This data does not show funding commitments<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 just what ECF funding was\u00a0requested<\/strong>\u00a0in the second filing window.\u00a0 ECF funding waves appear to be released about every two weeks.<\/p>\n
