On behalf of the PA Department of Education, I\u2019m pleased to announce this fall\u2019s E-rate trainings for both returning (veteran) and beginner applicants as we pivot to applying for E-rate Funding Year 2024. \u00a0Beginners\u2019 trainings will be conducted both in-person and virtually and as always, archives of the PP presentations will be available at\u00a0https:\/\/e-ratepa.org\/?page_id=745<\/a>\u00a0for later viewing. \u00a0Please note: \u00a0The PA trainings are for school and library officials only (no vendors), but the\u00a0USAC trainings<\/a>\u00a0are for both applicants and service providers.<\/p>\n

Veteran Applicants \u2013 Kicking Off FY 2024!<\/strong>
\nThere will be a 90-minute workshop for PA applicants who are already familiar with E-rate (our “veterans”) to kick off the new filing season.\u00a0 Please join me to learn what’s new for Funding Year 2024 and make sure you\u2019re prepared to file.<\/p>\n

Beginner Applicants \u2013 Let\u2019s Learn E-rate!<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be 4 beginners\u2019 training workshops \u2013 2 in-person and 2 virtual (one for schools and one for libraries).\u00a0 In-person trainings will be approx. 4 hours, and virtual trainings are scheduled for approx. 2 hours.\u00a0 The only two prerequisites to attending beginners\u2019 training are: \u00a01) you be a true beginner, and 2) you become set up as a \u201cUser\u201d in your school or library\u2019s EPC account\u00a0prior to<\/em>\u00a0training and have successfully logged into EPC. \u00a0(Only your school or library\u2019s\u00a0EPC Account Administrator (AA) can create a new User. \u00a0If you\u2019re unsure who is your EPC AA or if they need assistance in creating a new User, contact USAC at 888-203-8100 for help with that process.)\u00a0 \u00a0Please register below:<\/p>\n\n\r\n\r\n

USAC Training:\u00a0\u00a0USAC has announced their fall training series for applicants and service providers that wish to learn more about the program and how to participate. The training sessions will be virtual, and registration\/copies of previous presentations are now available on the\u00a0Webinars<\/a>\u00a0page. The sessions are for E-Rate program participants at all levels.<\/p>\n
