Please know that if the FCC grants your Waiver Request, your Form 471 application will THEN go into PIA review.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please follow these exact steps, in this exact order:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit the Form 471 in EPC on or before Wednesday, April 9, 2025.&nbsp; The status will be \u2018Filed Outside of Window.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the attached \u201cForm 471 Deadline Waiver Letter\u201d and complete the highlighted areas with your specific information.&nbsp; Please include a nice statement to the FCC about what this funding means to your school or library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Print on school or library letterhead.&nbsp; Sign.&nbsp; Save as .PDF document on your computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to: &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fcc.gov%2Fecfs%2Ffilings&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cpl-erate%40lists.psu.edu%7Cf0c5c39464a04b32e77f08dc4f1e112b%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638472237930127616%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=r0TKGx3PM5jg29wHzdHjhNoEASIokKcxbIfKY8Mr4ro%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/ecfs\/filings<\/a>&nbsp;and follow the instructions on the attached \u201cFCC Waiver Request Filing Instructions\u201d document.&nbsp; Be sure to hit \u2018Submit\u2019 on the second page of the online form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The FCC Waiver Letter does NOT need to be submitted by April 9, 2025, but be sure to submit it as soon as you can after the Form 471 is filed.&nbsp; The FCC&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/general\/e-rate-schools-libraries-usf-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">releases bulk appeal\/waiver decisions<\/a>&nbsp;on the last day of each month and if and when your waiver is approved, you will receive an e-mail from the FCC.&nbsp; Also, there is no requirement that they decide Form 471 deadline waiver requests within a certain amount of time, although most decisions are issued within three months of the waiver filing date.&nbsp;
