Traditionally, Sunesys’ invoices were inclusive of all taxes, surcharges and fees.

Schools and libraries are NOT exempt from the PA Gross Receipts Tax, but the good news is that the tax is E-rate eligible. So, if you will be listing Sunesys as one of your service providers on your FY 2014 Form 471, please be sure to include the extra 5% over your base contracted amount so you request enough E-rate funding for the year.

For example, if your base contract amount is $3,000/month, you would add $150, making the Block 5, 23A amount $3150.

If you already filed your Form 471 and didn’t include the extra 5%, you should use your Form 471 Receipt Acknowledgement Letter to increase your request and fax it back to USAC.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

— Julie

Julie Tritt Schell
PA E-rate Coordinator

717-730-7133 – o
717-730-9060 – f
jtschell@comcast.net
www.e-ratepa.org
Penn*link

[52

post-906","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-listserve_archive
["GET
