Cybersecurity Pilot Intro Webinar Scheduled

On Wednesday, August 14 at 3:00 p.m., I will be hosting a webinar to provide PA schools and libraries with an introduction to the FCC’s new $200 million Cybersecurity Pilot Program. If you are interested in submitting an application this fall to be considered for the pilot, please plan to attend. We will cover the following topics:
- Who is eligible
- What equipment and services are and are not eligible
- Maximum amount of funding each entity type and entity size may request
- What discount rate will be used
- Expected timeline for application, selection, bidding, etc.
- Questions that will be asked on the new Form 484
- What you can be doing now to prepare

I expect the webinar will last between 60-90 minutes and there will be plenty of time to ask questions. I don’t expect that I will know all the answers, but I’ll submit unanswered questions to USAC and the FCC. Also, this webinar is for PA schools and libraries only (no vendors).
