EPC Phishing Emails – Beware!

April 23, 2026

It’s just come to our attention that some E-Rate applicants have received emails that appear to be a phishing attempt. The email has a subject line of “Service Provider Document, E-Rate Productivity Center” and is from the domain “usac.com”. Legitimate emails from USAC come from the domain “usac.org”. In the email body, you will see a link to click to “View Secure Message”.

Here is a snapshot of what was received (it’s also attached to my email in case the screenshot doesn’t display):

USAC has been notified, but in the meantime, beware!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you receive any such email.

Sincerely,

Lorrie
