Two E-rate Webinars Scheduled: Tomorrow and November 19

Two E-rate training webinars are being conducted in the next 7 days — one that is PA specific and one being conducted by USAC.

USAC E-rate Modernization Webinar – Nov 13
USAC has scheduled a 1-hour webinar tomorrow, Thursday, November 13 from 3:00 – 4:00 EST to provide applicants and service providers with a high-level overview of several E-rate Modernization topics, including Category 2 budgets, changes to eligible services, and application process changes.  To attend, register at: https://goto.webcasts.com/starthere.jsp?ei=1048025.   This webinar is the first in a series of USAC webinars that will be announced shortly.  Please note:  No live questions will be taken during this webinar, however they do ask for your questions when you register.

E-rate Update for Veteran Pennsylvania Applicants – Nov 19

A 1.5-hour training webinar will be presented on Wednesday, November 19 from 1:00 – 2:30 to provide returning (veteran) Pennsylvania applicants with important changes to the federal E-rate program for FY 2015.

Registration is not required, but applicants are required to list their name AND school/library entity upon entering the webinar.  Live questions will be taken during this webinar.  The PowerPoint and archive of this webinar will be available for later viewing at https://e-ratepa.org/?page_id=745.  To join this webinar, go to http://vclass.cciu.org and click on the “E-rate Update for PA Veterans” link under the Meeting Name Column. (You may join the room 30 minutes prior to the start time).  Use your First and Last Name AND your school/library name as your Login Name and click “Log In” – (there is no password for this session).  You will automatically be taken to the webinar presentation.

Several other topic-specific webinars will be scheduled in the coming weeks as the new Form 471 is released and additional information becomes available.
