SLD Announces Fall E-rate Training Dates – Register Now

~ Philadelphia Training on October 7! ~

Although PDE-sponsored E-rate training will be held in Pennsylvania during the months of October and November for both beginners and veteran applicants (and maybe sooner if the FCC adopts their E-rate reform order in July or August), the SLD has just announced their fall training schedule and for the first time, one of the sessions is in Pennsylvania! Here is the full schedule:

Washington, DC – September 29
Philadelphia – October 7
Minneapolis – October 13
New Orleans – October 16
Portand – October 28
Los Angeles – October 30
St. Louis – November 4
Orlando – November 11

Registration on the SLD website (http://www.usac.org/sl/about/outreach/default.aspx) just opened and will only accommodate about 250 registrants (so if you would like to attend, register today as these slots fill up very quickly). Negotiated prices for hotel rooms also are listed on the SLD website.

Again, I will be conducting E-rate training at several locations throughout PA in the fall, that will include beginners’ workshops as well as comprehensive training after the FCC announces the details of its E-rate modernization plan. Details of those trainings will be announced in July or August.
