E-rate Workshops at PETE & C Conference!

The annual PETE & C Technology Conference is being held in Hershey from February 10 – 13, and I’m excited to announce two E-rate sessions will be held.  I hope to see you at one or both of these workshops!

• On Sunday afternoon, a 3-hour “E-rate for Beginners” workshop will be conducted (a mini-version of the full-day sessions conducted in the fall).  If you need to learn the E-rate basics or need a refresher, please plan to attend this workshop.  Because it’s a pre-conference session, there is no fee to attend, and conference registration is not required, but please complete the quick registration link below.

• On Monday afternoon, a 1-hour “Category 2: Maximizing Your Budgets in FY 2019” workshop will be held.  Paid attendees of the conference are welcome to attend this 1-hour workshop.

E-rate for Beginners

• Date:  Sunday, February 10, 2019
• Time: 1:00 – 4:00 PM
• Room:  Magnolia D
• Description:   If you are new to E-rate or need a refresher, this 3-hour workshop will go over the basics, explain discount calculations and C2 budgets, provide a tour of the E-rate Productivity Center (EPC), and demonstrate how to file a C1 and C2 Form 471.  A limited number of E-rate binders will be available for attendees. Come with all E-rate questions you have!
• Fee:  No cost and anyone can attend (regardless of whether you’re attending the conference).

Category 2:  Maximizing Your Budgets in FY 2019

• Date:  Monday, February 11, 2019
• Time:  3:45 – 4:45 PM
• Room: Empire B
• Description:  If you haven’t yet exhausted your E-rate Category 2 budget, FY 2019 is the year to do so!  This workshop will provide an overview of C2 eligibility, how to calculate remaining C2 budgets, and how to file a C2 Form 471.  Come with any Category 2 questions you have!
