First, congratulations to the 407 PA entities that have already submitted and certified their FY 2014 Form 471 representing 1330 separate FRNs! WooHoo! Way to go!!!!

For those of you not part of the 471 group, this is your first reminder that the FY 2014 Form 471/Item 21 Attachment Filing Window closes on March 26 (countdown reminders will be sent every few days through the end of the window). No, there is no way to request an extension. Please don’t wait until the last week of the window to file your application because traffic is usually extremely heavy which makes the website slow.

Attached to this message is one of the most helpful Form 471 guides on the planet (yes, I wrote it and it’s even better than last year’s awesome guide). Please open it, print it, and keep it by your side when completing your Form 471, which I hope is in the next 3 days.
