Table draft

Since the program’s inception, Pennsylvania’s 1200+ schools and libraries have been committed more than $1.2 billion in E-rate funding. The impact to Pennsylvania schools and libraries has been significant both in terms of wiring classrooms for Internet Access and providing broadband connections that weren’t available 17 years ago, but also to the delivery and enhancement of education and provision of library services to all Pennsylvanians.  The chart below shows the amount of E-rate funding committed by funding category for each year of the program.  To search for E-rate funding by school or library, E-rate Central has created an easy-to-use search tool that provides E-rate funding data by entity, going back to the first year of the program.  In order to access the database, simply click here Erate-arrow, and enter your Billed Entity Number (BEN) in the upper left corner.  The page will show summary information about that entity’s funding for each program year.  If you click on a particular funding year, the system will return a list of all funding requests (FRNs) for that entity. To gain an even more granular information about a single FRN, simply click on the FRN number and it will show all information in the SLD’s Data Retrieval Tool pertaining to that FRN.
