If You’re on This List, Request an Invoice Deadline Extension ASAP

If your entity’s name is on the attached list, it’s because your school or library has a FY 2019 Funding Request that has had no funding disbursed and has an invoice deadline of Thursday, February 25, 2021.  Even if you have already submitted your BEAR to USAC, please go into EPC and request an extension ASAP so that if your BEAR is denied or reduced for some reason, you will still have time to resubmit a corrected BEAR.

Applying for an extension is easy… just follow the attached guide.  The deadline to apply for the extension is also Thursday, February 25, 2021.

A few notes:

• Normally, this deadline would have been October 28, 2020, but due to the pandemic, the FCC extended the FY 2019 BEAR invoice deadline for recurring services until February 25, 2021.  Applicants can request an additional, one-time 120-day extension as long as the request is submitted by February 25, 2021.
• Regardless of whether you’re on this list, if you don’t yet have a BEAR PIN (they’re person specific, not organization specific), follow this guide to request a BEAR PIN.  http://e-ratepa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Form-472-BEAR-PIN-Request-Guide.pdf.
